So my very good friend Megan’s wedding will be in Iowa come August, YAY! I’m so excited for my buddy and her man and can’t wait to see them and take part in the festivities! Since it IS in Iowa I must of course fly out, and yesterday booked the tickets!
I’m getting nervous already. And I know I need to not be. I’m reminding myself that I’ve done this before, it’s ok, and trying to keep positive thoughts out there to counteract the scaredy-cat ones. 😉
So I ask of you all to please pray and/or think kind and safe-like thoughts for us, and while I will have the Xanax on hand I know I need the good vibes and positive feelings out there in the universe to really help me out. 🙂

You'll be just fine Aurora!! You've done it before and you can do it again.. Colin's much better now than he used to be..it helps to have someone to distract you..AND a good movie on your ipod.
Ankeny is not far at all! I live about an hour and 15 minutes away. 🙂
