Now that Christmas is only 2 weeks away I can really get into the spirit of it all! I’m sorry but starting up with the Christmas music and holiday whatnot like 2 months beforehand is just ridiculous! 😉
I normally don’t get into Christmas decorating much, not sure why really. I absolutely love Christmas time, but never strung up lights or put up a tree or anything. This year I felt like doing it up though! 🙂 We went to get some stockings, tinsel-y goodness, and ornaments for our little tree. Almost burned my fingers getting those iron on transfer letters for the stockings done, but I think I did pretty damn good for my first attempt at being festivey! A Festivus for the rest of us!
I also celebrated my inner Jew by attending my very first Hanukkah service with the wifey last night. It was so nice!! The best was when we got to sing dradle dradle dradle, I made you out of clay! I was secretly hoping there’d be a busting out of the Hava Nagila song with everyone dancing around in a circle, but VJ was quick to point out this was a synagogue not Fiddler on the Roof. *hangs head* Ah well maybe the next time! 🙂 I’m so glad I was able to be there with my VJ, the prayers that were said were so uplifting and positive, and I left with a very happy spirit! Thanks wifey for letting me come celebrate with you!

aww..the stockings are the best..J’s mom always brought a stocking and separate gifts for Gabey too. Hopefully Teebo will get more than a new supply of his little *special pants* from Santa this year 😀 I miss you! Let’s talk soon! hugs hugs and more hugs!
