It’s been forever and a day since I wrote in this thing! Need to catch up on the holiday photos, trip to Vegas (YAAAAY!) and stuff, so that’s all forthcoming…
Sitting at work, here late, school starts this week so work is nuts with a capital UTS! đ Waiting for this laptop to finish doing it’s thing so I’m reading over people’s comments about the day (inauguration day for anyone that might have been living under a rock đ )Â Annoyances: People who are quick to pass judgement even though they really have not educated themselves on ANYTHING. If you’re gonna criticize and bash a certain former president, let’s know what we’re talking about shall we? And on that note, why even continue to bash a certain former president? News flash: his day is done, he doesn’t make decisions anymore, i know it’s hard, but you MIGHT have to find someone else to criticize in order to feel better about yourself.Â
Parts of Obama’s speech i LOVED: in talking about our service men/women, and when he was addressing the terrorists in the world and how “we will defeat you”. That was just amazing. His commitment to this nation’s safety and that we will always fight back is actually quite reassuring for me and he definitely made himself out to be a force to be reckoned with where our national security is concerned. GO OBAMA!
In other news, I START SCHOOL THIS WEEK!!! YIPES!! So I finally decided to go back to school to work on a Master’s, yay me! My first class in over 7 years will be in 2 days!!! I’m so excited, a little nervous but I really can’t wait to get this ball rolling. It’s taken me far too long! Â I kept singing that song in my head today from Billy Madison when he’s waiting for the school bus: “Back to school! Back to school, to prove to Dad that Iâm not a fool! I got my lunch packed up, my boots tied tight, I hope I donât get in a fight!” HAHA!
