Whooooooaaa Roaring 20’s!! 🙂 So this past Saturday, the 23rd, Valancy Jane and I went to what’s called the Suffrage Ball. The event was put on by a local women’s historical society to celebrate the day women got the vote. Complete with period costumes, music, and cars, it was by far one of the most fun events I’d ever gone to!
From the joint getting raided and us getting arrested…
To being thrown into the back of the paddy wagon…
Then cleverly working out an “arrangement” with the crooked cops to make bail, they became our REALLY good friends…
And then a whole lot of fun swinging with the live orchestra!
This was such a great time, I’m definitely going to the next event they put on like this! The people there were so nice, and everyone was really into the theme! VJ and I even went all authentic like and snuck in a bottle of “bathtub” gin tee hee! Hooray for a fabulous time!
I also wanted to give a super duper shout out to my main man T!!! It was his birthday Saturday, and I’m bummed I couldn’t go celebrate properly as I already had tickets for this 20’s hoopla. But dude T, you’re the bestest and I was sending so many happy birthday vibes your way! XOXO!!

I did the 20’s look on you! Looks like you had tons of fun! Luckily we’ve come a long away since women were granted the right to vote. I can’t believe it’s been 3 years since you’ve left Arizona! You’re definitely missed here.

All I can say is, the real Roaring 20’s never saw anything as hot as the two of you! And isn’t it weird to think that at one time, we didn’t have the rights we take for granted now?
