I’m glued to a live stream of the Chilean miners rescue. It’s amazing that there’s a camera 2300 feet below the surface of the earth, capturing all of this with video and audio. You can hear the guys working, even taking time to throw a little joke in here and there, and it’s just so surreal to be able to be a part of this a bajillion miles away. It makes you feel nervous with them, cheer with them, laugh with them, cry with them!
And GAH there goes the second miner just starting up the hole in the cage. I just hope and pray all goes well, and everyone can give their loved ones a “honey I’m home” hug.
