Great plugin to import Facebook notes comments back to original blog post…

I came across this pretty good plugin to incorporate into my WordPress blog, and any of you with WordPress blogs that import to Facebook might want to check it out!

More activity happens on my blog posts in Facebook after they’re imported as notes. The whole purpose of starting and maintaining my blog was for posterity, to keep my memories forever in a journal of sorts that I could easily look back on in the years to come. Since many of the comments to these posts end up in Facebook notes I was hoping there was a way to send those comments back to the original post.

Success! This plug-in does just that, and although it’s got some kinks to work out it’s does the job quite well. The only thing, which I think the creator is currently working on a fix for since it looks like FB changed stuff up recently, is that you have to enter your MOBILE facebook note ID. Just go on your phone to m.facebook.com and get the ID number associated with your notes, then enter it in the settings of the plugin after you’ve installed it in WordPress. Then it works like a charm!

If anyone knows of another plugin, or service, that does something like this in an easier way let me know!

WordPress blogs can be imported to FB? That’s how behind I am.
Have you seen blurb.com? You can get your blogs printed into an actual book!

  2. Wow no way! That’s a cool idea to have a blog passed down in the family type thing! Yup you can import the blogs. There’s an app on FB that you can import WP blogs using the app, I just imported the blog feed into the Notes and was really only unhappy with the commenting that I couldn’t transfer over back to the blog side. But now it seems to be working just fine, hooray!

  3. Like in Modern Studies class or something? I know some high slocohs offer this but mine doesn’t and I think we should learn about things like politics, I think it’s important for young people to know what’s happening in the world. What do you think, and why?I know some people think teachers woud imprint opinions on them, but we’re not actually human sponges, and good teaches can teach without enforcing their opinions.I know some people think teachers woud imprint opinions on them, but we’re not actually human sponges, and good teaches can teach without enforcing their opinions.
