My knees creak when I go up the stairs sometimes, my grays don’t cooperate with the occasional touchup anymore, and I’ve got an endoscopy scheduled in a few days to look into my frequent heartburn and digestion issues.

When did I turn into Mrs. effing Piggle Wiggle? You are beautiful my dear. My guess is that you have been pushing yourself (which is great) but are sometimes forgetting to treat yourself like you did back in the day. Less time to luxuriate, you know! Babies delight in playing with their toes and belly buttons (ooops! strike that) and your toes still need to be admired – as do all the other parts. Take some time! And laughter and old old old (me 😉 ) friends are good for the soul! Keeps the body young. So lets us old gals get together soon. Hugs.
I had an endoscopy last year! That indicates stress, not getting older… 🙂
Daww thanks Teddi dear you are so right! And yes us old gals need to hang out soon :)Rachael really?! Honestly, how is it? Do you feel much? I know they sedate you but I've heard that you can still feel the tube and choke on it? I'm scared haha!
honey, you really push yourself and you've been doing it for years. work hard, play hard… he he. last time i saw you u looked wonderful. when do you graduate?
Haha, you can't feel anything. They sedate you, you sleep, next thing you know, you wake up, they're done, and you're groggy all day. I didn't feel a thing and I didn't remember any of it. The worst thing that would happen is you might develop a very minor sore throat later in the day, but seriously, that is it! Not bad, but don't plan on doing anything that day, you will be asleep!
I've had a heart attack endo and colonoscopy, I refuse to think that makes us old. Rather we are just more prepared for old age =)
Don't feel bad darling.. I threw my back out again by you know..just WALKING. I've been hobbling around for a few days..when this happens it's always a good reminder to appreciate everything your back does for you!! xoxoxoxo
I think I started getting old when I changed into “my inside sweater“ a few years ago….like Mr. Freakin Rogers….hope you have a Merry Christmas!
