Today my lovely grandma Margarita turns 79! I went up to celebrate with the family, and sneaked this photo of my notoriously camera shy grandma when they were singing Happy Birthday to her, complete with sombrero and churros!
I am beyond grateful and feel so very blessed to have such a wonderful person in my life, and to still have her after all these years!! My grandma is one of the funniest people in this whole world, she’s always making me laugh, cracking jokes, and she’s just as sharp as ever with her zany wit! Even when she’s ragging on the waiter who brought her too much coffee and not enough milk, he can’t help but laugh at her jokes. 🙂 And who knew?!! So I had bought her some red gerber daisies for her birthday ’cause they were the prettiest looking bunch at the store, and then she asked me what kind of flowers they were. I actually didn’t know what the spanish word for daisies was so I asked my mum and she said they are called margaritas!!! HA, who knew, margaritas for Margarita, total mind blower!
